WELCOME TO Red Crow Silver
Handcrafted contemporay celtic-style jewellery. Wearable and collectable, designed and made in Scotland.
Getting ready for the Christmas season when the leaves are turning colour and the wind howls occasionally around my workshop. In the spirit of my work ethics, I've teamed up again with Rupinder and Peter from the Nail Factory in organising an evening talk on Ojibwe art and it's relation to Native American Awareness and the subsequent Issues that arose. More info should be available on the Nail Factory's website.
I'm updating the markets and fairs dates as I get them so please check if neccesary.
Without the help and support from fellow artist, the photographer Kim Ayres, I would have been in a great fix to get some good images of my latest work. Just before he was off to be the Resident Artist at the Wigtown Bookfest, he dropped by and took some wonderful photos. I just can't thank him enough!
The Tourist Info/local Craft shop on High Street, Dalbeattie, called Visitor Information Point has re-opened. So for info on the 7stanes, B&B's, Good Food, etc and some of my jewellery, pop in there and find out more.
Another great venue in Dalbeattie is the "Nail Factory", a small Gallery with a big potential - check out their website for dates. Sculptor Peter Dowden had an exhibition from 9-25th of May. I had great joy in working with him to design a memento in Granite for a delegate from Malawi who was visiting the region.
As I'm on the subject of other websites, I have started a Links page with the websites of fellow artists, friends and companions. Once I've managed to get it all working, again thanks to the great help of Kim Ayres, you can spend forever at your computer, browsing all.
I am looking forward to see you at any of the fairs or at my gallery (please book, see contact details).
Erwin
My Website is still being changed and updated on a regular basis, but the basic lay-out has been set. More will happen, so in the mean time, enjoy what is done so far! Thank you, Erwin
